American Idiot..The Movie?

The Broadway show American Idiot, based on the music by the band Green Day, will perform it's last show April 24th. Now, I never saw this show. Mythought process was that if I was going to pay $120 to hear Green Day songs, I'd rather watch the band. (Which I did see them live, and they were awesome!) But that's just my opinion. However, now with the show going off Broadway, there are talks that American Idiot is in the works for becoming a movie. Check out this article from broadway.com for more info!
