So only 6 days until the nominations for the 2011 Tony Awards are announced! I don't know about you guys, but I'm excited! I'm pretty curious to see who will get nominated this year. One show I'm pretty sure won't get nominated is poor Spidey. But maybe better luck next year? I'm interested to hear what everyone thinks! What shows do you think will be nominated this year?! I wana hear your thoughts!!

First of all I want to say that the reason Spiderman won't be nominated is because it is not eligible. It is still in previews and in order to be nominated you had to start regular performances by April 28th. You probably didn't know that cause you said that maybe better luck next year and probably thought that it was eligible this year. That's only because it's not eligible this year so it will be next year but if it was eligible it definitely wouldn't get an award considering how bad ratings it is getting because the book isn't good, and this, and that. But a show can't be nominated for a 2nd year in a row, if it is eligible the year before, even if it is not nominated. Only if it is a show that has a reival after the Tony cut offs the year before can it be nominated.

Thanks for the input, I appreciate it. I guess I got confused about the whole eligible/nomination part haha As far as the mis-information, is this the only post that you've seen that was not correct? Want to make sure I'm keeping things in check!
